Trust Exercises

Trust is a fragile thing, and should be developed slowly and purposefully. While trust is involved in every activity of a program, a series of dedicated “trust” exercises can provide an opportunity for group members to trust their physical and emotional well-being at a higher level.

Trust Exercises will be safe and effective if they feature:

  • A graduated series of activities which involve risk taking at many levels
  • Support and co-operation of all group members
  • Fun, but some fear (of the unknown) as well
  • 1 to 30 minutes of play

Try these wonderful trust activities today!

Lean Walk A simple two-person leaning exercise that invites trust.
Moon Walking The closest people can get to flying without wings.
Pairs Compass Walk Marvel at people’s amazing ability to completely lose their sense of direction.
Spot The Difference An activity about noticing what’s different about another.
