Works real well, especially when there is NO indication of what the game is till the blindfolds are on. It is amazing to hear what people have observed in the 15-20 seconds. Last week I did this and one guy had observed the shoes they were wearing so found the shuffling about 75% on shoes but when someone else used faces as there "shuffling" tool it became interesting to get consensus. A great exercise.

HI Mark,

Love the Madagascar game. I use similar activity at sports clubs when I run Todd Story Program (www.toddstory.com.au) to demonstrate team building. Just using tarp. Its amazing to be able to point out how they support each other to not "fall off". In the Todd Story program I encourage young people to watch out for their mates and the Tarp activity is great one for that.
Thank you for always sharing your games. I'm sure there are many people besides me who use your ideas.
Regards,
Tracy Montgomery

Hi Mark
A possible FUNN variation to One Duck would be to do it as a round - so that there are a couple of the verses going around at the same time. This could be achieved by starting at a couple of places in the circle at the same time or by dividing into two sides and starting at different times or by passing it to the person next but one rather than the person next to you and having one verse for odds and another for evens
Kind regards,
Jo Freitag.

Over the years I've always been able to refer to Mark for a new take on an old game, and in particular what can be done with the least number of props. Both of his most recent books have a ton of ideas about how to achieve the most with the least. Take a look, you'll be pleased you did... Karl

So many of the activities support the development of team work, communication and goal setting – and they're fun! A great way to introduce or reinforce skills developed through the Personal Development Skills (PDS) strand of VCAL. I also enjoyed the challenge of thinking of ways to use the activities with literacy students - and came up with a few. Thanks for the day.
